Eden Amsterdam is located in a unique spot in Amsterdam. Right along the Amstel river and Rembrandt Square with an all of the highlights and hotspots within reach: Rembrandtplein, the Stopera, Waterlooplein and Theater Carré. Various Museums are near, including the Rembrandthuis Museum, Hermitage Amsterdam and Foam photography museum. The area is full of options for dining, going out and all the famous shopping like Kalverstraat and Utrechtsestraat are nearby. If you’d like to see the city from the water, you can step aboard on one of the many canal cruise boats which you can find near the Eden Amsterdam

Good central hotel for couples

Stayed for 4 days/3 nights for couples mini-break. This is a nice hotel in an excellent location; very close to public transport, numerous restaurants, attractions and shops etc. We walked everywhere. Self service check in was easy with staff on hand if needed. Lobby area is modern and clean. There’s a self service shop serving Starbucks from a machine and all the essentials you’d need including snacks and a small range of souvenirs. Prices are what you’d expect in a hotel shop. There’s also a self serve pizza option during the day which we didn’t use but looks good. The bar is available throughout the day/evening. Good range of hot and cold drinks including cocktails and again priced as you’d expect for a hotel. Staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet is excellent, wide variety of hot & cold food, drinks and condiments. All was locally sourced and of a high quality. Majority of staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are relatively compact but comfortable for a short stay. Creatively decorated and modern. Beds were comfortable although ‘double’ is single beds pushed together. Couple of things to be aware of: En-suite is separated by a frosted glass wall so you need to know your travel companions well! Download the app. We were disappointed not to have daily housekeeping and discovered on our last day that this is requested on the app and otherwise room is only cleaned after the third day. There is no information in the room so again the app is needed for meal times etc. It would have been helpful if this was pointed out at check in.

Great location - central

Great location, really clean hotel lovely staff, check in was very easy got there earlier than anticipated and was accommodated, re allocated to a new room so we could check in early. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh waster and complimentary chocolate daily. Nice touch

Beautiful modern hotel

From first moment we stepped into this central modern hotel everything was great. Gerry at front desk was so friendly and professional Lovely few days In this beautiful hotel. Rooms were spotless and exactly as described Thank you we will definitely return if ever in Amsterdam
