Eden Amsterdam is located in a unique spot in Amsterdam. Right along the Amstel river and Rembrandt Square with an all of the highlights and hotspots within reach: Rembrandtplein, the Stopera, Waterlooplein and Theater Carré. Various Museums are near, including the Rembrandthuis Museum, Hermitage Amsterdam and Foam photography museum. The area is full of options for dining, going out and all the famous shopping like Kalverstraat and Utrechtsestraat are nearby. If you’d like to see the city from the water, you can step aboard on one of the many canal cruise boats which you can find near the Eden Amsterdam

Views and stairs

We stayed in the apartments next door to the hotel. Staff in the hotel received us kindly and took care of us, and were responsive when we had questions during our stay. We were on the top floor of the building. If you want to understand Amsterdam living and experience stairs that are just shy of being ladder, this is the place for you. We loved it. Made better choices about going and not forgetting anything. But the view of the river, comfy beds and the (adult) kids having their own space was perfect. I would ask for better lighting in the bathroom, but that is my only comment.

Great stay

Very nice place and staff was very helpful. Less than 1 mile walk to all major attractions. Located right on Amstel river. Great places to eat within 2 minute walk. Nice small bar with reasonable prices. I would recommend and will return if traveling again.

Central Gem

The Eden Hotel was conveniently placed next to the canal and not far from the main square and the museum area. The room was a decent size with tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was amazing with a huge amount of choice from healthy options to the not so healthy! The shop inside the hotel was very handy and reasonably priced. The bar was good and they do a mean Moscow Mule. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back
