What a Great Stay!
I stayed at the Eden Hotel for four nights as part of a women's travel group. The accommodations were comfortable. The staff members were all very pleasant. The location was very convenient to the tram and metro. There are many restaurants to choose from within walking distance. I had a great stay!
Okay but could do better
Nice position for exploring Amsterdam. Staff were friendly and welcoming but do not think this was value for money.
I was there for 6 days - my room was not cleaned from Wednesday until I left on Friday.
It was also frustrating not to have a restaurant onsite and having to find a place each night after a heavy day of work was exhausting.
Great hotel
The staff are really friendly and helpful, the hotel is situated in a excellent position in Amsterdam with easy walking distance of the main attractions, the breakfast is continental with a good variety of food. Rooms are clean and functional although we found the lighting to be poor in our room and the coffee machine was not very good. Down stairs bar area is excellent with very friendly staff, we found that the hotel drinks were cheaper than local bars which is a positive, they also have a self serve shop if you feel a bit peckish in the night.
